    SDLs – TLU 3D Technologies collaboration – Smart Design Labs Co Ltd collaborated with Thuy Loi University (TLU) on research, innovation and entrepreneur in 3D technologies (3D Printing – 3D Scanning – Reverse Engineering – Quality Control).

    The collaboration program between Smart Design Labs and TLU includes knowledge sharing and training partnership. SDLs presentation at TLU includes a general introduction on 3D scanning technologies and Reverse Engineering, as well as a close look on structure and operation of a 3D printer.

    SDLs and TLU can benefit from this collaboration in many ways. For SDLs, the company can become a 3D scanner provider for TLU, and the collaboration program can connect between TLU students and employers, as well as training programs that will help them to become qualified engineers in the future and meet the job requirements of the labour market.

    Smart Design Labs also invited the lecturers of TLU to visit the company and observe its operations regarding 3D printing, 3D scanning and Reverse Engineering.

    The collaboration program was made easier because Smart Design Labs engineers were former students of Hanoi University of Science and Technologies and with excellent knowledge and expertise on 3D Technologies, therefore the company received tremendous supports from the university’s staff.

    Another aim of the collaboration program is to guide the next generation of engineers towards a technological segment that will achieve high growth in the near future, which is 3D technologies such as 3D printing and 3D Scanning.
