ABS plastic:
ABS 3D printing resin – Full name is Acrylonitrile Butadine Styrene. ABS resin is a shiny, amorphous thermoplastic. ABS resin liquefies when reaching the glass transition temperature (2210C with ABS resin). It can be heated to the melting point, cooled and re-heated without changing the chemical properties. Hence ABS plastic is recyclable.
The first advantage of ABS plastic is physical durability. ABS can withstand chemicals that are highly corrosive and is also very hard and resistant to physical impacts.
